NEW HAVEN POLICE TRACK DOWN CHILD PEDOPHILE SUSPECT IN ARIZONA

(5/7/2009) NEW HAVEN--On Wednesday, Detective Wendy Barrett and Detective William White of the Special Investigations Unit, picked up a child pedophile on warrants in Phoenix, Arizona, stemming from an investigation that began in 2008 in New Haven. Brian Lowe DOB 1/4/1970, was arrested on two warrants. Through their investigation, these detectives were able to determine that Lowe had moved to Phoenix, Arizona. They notified Phoenix Police, who apprehended Lowe. Lowe subsequently waived extradition.

Lowe was charged with:

Sexual Assault First Degree, two counts

Sexual Assault Fourth Degree

Risk of Injury to a Minor, three counts

$100,000.00 court set bond

Sexual Assault Fourth Degree

Risk of Injury to a Minor

$75,000.00 court set bond
